About me!

I’m Hannah, a UK-based artist specialising in pet portraits. TheArtJogging is where I share my passion for animals and my love for creating. Art has always been a huge part of my life, and animals have naturally become my biggest source of inspiration. 

My main focus is on pet portraits. I began drawing my colleagues’ pets as Christmas gifts when I was 16, starting out as a hobby before it slowly grew into a small business. 5 years later and I now work from my home studio in my back garden. Animals have always been my muse and drawing them has only strengthened that connection. 

I create hand-drawn pieces that are full of detail, focusing not only on physical likeness but also on capturing a sense of personality and life. I love creating work that feels personal and familiar -  something that reflects the bond people have with their pets. 

I studied for a diploma in Art & Design at college in Cheltenham, UK. After leaving college with a distinction in my studies and a big passion for drawing in graphite, I knew this was the route I wanted to go down. I spent the first few years of my business drawing in graphite, a timeless medium that I will always love using but within the last year I have expanded to working with coloured pencils on mini pet portraits which, with the help of social media, have now reached over half a million people. 

I feel incredibly grateful that my art has found its way into many homes around the world. I hope I get to work with you to create something special!
